Depends on the company and its market cap.

Small cap and volatile ithe you can sell and buy later.

it depends why you got it in the 1st place...you should have got it thinking it worth more than when you got it right? then what is the price you thought its worth? just selling it just based on price will not make you rich in long run

the origin for selling idea is economic forecast..like inflation and elections..etc

otherwise i would keep it...

Yes, depending on what kind of war etc. my stocks are surplus money so you have room to take a decision on when to sell

I bought NVDA at 114 and sold at 260

META at 88 and sold at 188

missed out 600 k profit on the bull run , invested that amount in other stocks with less than 12 % return

I feel bad today

1. do you need the money?

2. do you have a better investment for that money?

3. do you have a safer investment with decent enough returns

4. consider tax implications of short term vs long term stock sale

5. consider selling 50% and putting the rest in alternatives

so how good are you at forecasting and how many times you have been right? if you feel its a great company, isn't that an opportunity for you to acquire more at a cheaper price?
