I wish olden days return for cities like New York... you step out, raise your hand and sit in taxi. Used to pay 3 to 5$ for few blocks. Now I am ready to pay 10$ also. Nope, wait 30 minutes and pay 30$...

Thanks for the heads-up! Airport scams are the worst. I once had a close call with a fake ride service at ATL. Since then, I've become extra cautious. Speaking of reliable rides, I recently discovered transfers from Miami. It's all about staying safe and savvy while traveling.
