Imagine.. all these 3 decide to liquidate some % of holdings.. like 10k homes 😆

Why would they? They can reduce the rent a bit... these are all backed by investors so they are all paid for. It's all about returns...

but large corps sometimes take drastic steps.. they just care about profits ga..

Yes, possible...

Maintaining this many homes is no joke.. apartment maintenance is one thing, but these single family homes are usually not preferred for renting - math doesn't workout+ maintenance overhead.

I'm curious what's their business plan is - they must have got these build when interest rates are super low and cookie cutter homes are built for cheap purely for rental purposes...

If it's to break even and build equity with renters paying equity and *hope*  for home prices to continue to go up.

Breaking even for single family homes on rent is not easy - that too when you have management overhead
