Yep... premium bourbons straight or on the rocks >> most scotch in my opinion. 

If you add the price factor, there is no comparison.

Scotch is just brand like luxury goods

Not sure about homes because i am based out in Dallas i do notice lot of tech jobs esp product based and startup positions opening up in Austiin alot vs Dallas. Dalls is still a hub for business and IT support jobs but innovation jobs are being created in Austin. Just my obsetvation as product manager
