Help with filing taxes in HR Block

I lived in Missouri for 5 months in 2023 and moved to Texas

But when filing Federal and state taxes in HR Block software, it’s calculating taxes on the total amount I declared for Federal - and asking me to pay a lot more tax for MO State 

HR Block software is asking for the dates I lived In Missouri state, but it’s not considering these dates while calculating state taxes 

 

did anyone face this situation before ?

I come is just from W2 and no other deductions like property etc 

so felt HR Block premium is enough 

But this state thing is causing trouble

I don’t think it’s HR block but it’s MO state tax rule anukunta… Ideally you should only pay for those months…. Check in TurboTax to see if that makes any diff…

just ippudey turbo tax deluxe software $55 ki koni file chesa taxes.......good software....last year HR block in-person filing ki $240 dobbaadu same documents ki...

try freetaxusa and see if it helps with your situation. I’ve been using it for more than 10 years. Federal is free and only pay for state tax
