Indians in the U.S. Aren’t Rich Enough? The wealth gap between the rich and poor in the Indian American community is significant.

The truth is that only a small fraction of Indian Americans enjoy financial stability, while many struggle to make ends meet, grappling with bills and food insecurity. The wealth gap between the rich and poor in the Indian American community is significant. This might be surprising to those who think all Indian Americans are rich and successful. Life in America isn’t perfect for Indians, though it’s better than for immigrants from other countries.

Anna, compared to other immigrant communities, Indians are generally more affluent, often holding high-paying jobs of around $100k or more. While individual earnings can vary, as a community, Indians tend to be better off than others.

No raa Tamu, if you bar the students, asylum seekers and other temporary visa immigrants, Indians are the best on every meaningful metric.

Pakistanis also not running behind in fact, if you discount illegal Pakis and asylum seekers. Their Halal economy is much bigger than anyone can estimate. Literally they are holding more than 50% of meat market - breeders, butchers, transport, restaurants, meat shops, fried chicken shops, biryani shops - almost every step of supply chain.
