For CBN, YSR’s welfare schemes are a bigger threat than YSR himself!

It is amusing to watch naïve politicians from the opposition parties particularly the TDP coming on various regional channels and acting as if the Congress is already a spent force minus YSR Reddy. Nothing could be further from truth. All the bickering within the Congress can subside with one gesture from Mrs Gandhi. And in the same breath Mrs Gandhi has the fiscal stamina at her party’s disposal to continue YSR’s schemes successfully. So, Chandrababu Naidu more than anyone else should know that YSR’s schemes are a bigger threat than the man himself. What's more, TDP’s battle with YSR will get even tougher now only because YSR is no longer in the picture to heap corruption charges upon. Even Rosaiyya’s predictable failure in the next 2 to 3 years will work to the advantage of the Congress. In such an event, the Congress can then play its final ace in the pack - let Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy run the race for C M in 2014 elections. People might forget YSR, but they will associate his son with his schemes. Either way, with or without YSR Reddy, Chandrababu now has his hand full.
