As long its in same profession more or less same job duties and responsibilities no issues

If the dates become current or in case of rfe make sure they will give 485j  if not thats an issue afaiak

As @csrcsr anna said. Two things need to be taken care

1. Same or Similar job duties undali. I have seen ppl doing .NET to SAP/Oracle also in GC EAD. No issues for them. Anthe kani civil engg GC EAD to software job is not allowed.

2. If RFE or date becomes current I-485J from employer will be needed. This needs to be confirmed with the employer beforehand. Explain them it is NOT sponsorship.
