Sizzler
BJP forming Govt in 2024 seems to be a foregone conclusion. Lack of strong opposition is not good for the country. Really hope Rahul Gandhi fights hard as opposition leader and be in a better place for 2029. Sonia’s foolish moves along with not embracing the modern electioneering set back the party for several years. They need to do well in MP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, KA, TG, Kerala and hope for their alliance partners like DMK, SP, TMC to do well too. If there is a wave predicted for Congress in 2029, CBN will join them for democratic compulsions.

With delimitation on the cards in 2026, 2029 elections will take in many more new constituencies where BJP will gerry mander so that they will form hundreds of constitutencies with favorable demographics which in turn makes it more harder for Congress to win in 2029. Also BJP will follow through the promise of One Nation, One Election. So, not at all easy for Congress, with lack of election funding & all the elections being held at once could spell real trouble for the opposition. But again if people want BJP win, then it's upto them!

Anti Incumbency is something which will eventually catch up if opposition does a decent job. Election funds will not be an issue as long as they have power in few states. Ambanis will back if they want Congress to win. 2004 - BJP had a positive vibe across the nation with “India Shining” campaign. But to their shock, Congress won 200+ seats and UPA formed the Government. Very few have Congress a chance back then. End of the day, Rahul Gandhi needs to show people that he can lead them. Otherwise it will be curtains.

While everyone thought TRS is going to win, I expected there is an under current anti incumbency and Revanth Reddy used it towards his advantage. Even if there is anti incumbency against BJP, people need an alternative to vote for. Rahul is not there yet. There is a reason why BJP are hell bent on finishing Kejriwal. He has that potential to emerge. He captured Delhi, Punjab, and next Haryana ?

Delimitation May actually spell the start of downfall for BJP. For example, UP is now at maximum support base for BJP and 70 plus seats is very reachable. That’s almost 85% strike rate. Post delimitation, it’s very hard for them to keep this strike rate. At best case scenario, out of 120, they will barely be able to win half of them. The main reason being resurgence of regional outfits. More seats means more parties and more competition. Everyone thinks delimitation will help BJP but I see in a different way, post delimitation, the situation will benefit regional outfits, both existing and new.

Irrespective of what is happening in Assembly , states like MP, Rajasthan are voting enmasse to BJP. If Congress can change that, they will be in a better position. You might have missed where I said BJP is not going 400 seats and anti incumbency eventually catches up ani.
