Housing market slowing down

recent number of real-estate transactions are experiencing decline nation-wide. 

- Inventory levels raising in all areas. 

- Motivated sellers are listing home on market at competitive pricing.

- It will be a challenging environment for both home buyers and home sellers with combination of High Interest rates and APR. 

- There are no changes of Mortgage Interest rates coming down this year. 

Congrats to all vuncles who bought Investment homes during the covid era.. More people will now prefer to RENT rather than BUYING a Home.

Real estate market has gone beyond logic, realistic expectations. It should fall, but hasn't. 

• There is still a mismatch with demand and supply.
• New age companies that pool money to buy investment homes and rent them out. Even amazon/Bezos invested a lot of money in this kind of company. 
• Individuals who bought investment homes at lower rates are not motivated to sell as they build a lot of equity in it and renting is creating cash flow for them
• Potential buyers in the market have come to a conclusion real estate will never drop.

What will impact the real estate market

• Job market. Biggest factor that will drive market in future
• Stock market. If market drops, it will create liquidity problems like in 2022 Q4 and demand will reduce drastically. Still at max 20% correction.

  dosthu is trying to get rid of home after 1 year..only mortgage and utilities  ke close to 5k kaduthundi
