They should have done this when they were in power.  India was considered as fragile 5 economy during upa rule.  Answering to reporters question then defense minister said India did not have single penny to buy air crafts when India was running low on number of squadrons needed to fight both China and Pakistan.  UPA/congress bankrupted India literally, it was on ventilator literally. Inlaid was sky high. It did not have any vision other than slogans.  How come India is able to manufacture vande bharat now and not earlier. How Com India did not modernize railway stations earlier.  How come India did not export defense equipment earlier how come all the terrorists were safe in Pakistan earlier and worried now. How come UPA did not pull off any major reforms.  Poor ate the ones who vote for sure. They saw benefits with jhan dhan accounts, direct benefit transfer., heal t h insurance, mudra yojana gas connections, housing. Middle class benefitting with roads railways airports tax slabs. Number of universities increased. More than 100 manufacturing units. Gaining momentum in start ups. Stick market increased by many folds. Electricity to every corner of the country. Infrastructure like never before.  Tap connection to every house holds. And the list goes on. 

 

So I doubt people will fall for 1 lakh.
