If any female travelling, allowed is 40grms ! For   Male its is 20grms .

Depends on how much you are carrying mate. 

My frend landed in Hyderabad. with 3 Costco 100 Gm bars turned into bangles ...

They took out and tested and proved its 24K....and then applied the Indian rate difference plus some fine.

Finally she came out with INR 1,50,000 ..

but given the price differences at the moment, she is left with a profit of INR 1,50,000 with respect to Dollar to Indian Price.... thats 50,000 per bangle.
