Wife valla friend brother who completed masters recently  got into issue where he destroyed some furniture and called 911 himself. basic ga fully drunk and some physiological issue kuda vundi anukunta. now parents and siblings in india are worried and trying to get him to india asap. But  there is attempt to  assault case on him and so cannot travel.

This sounds like a criminal offense, you need to find a criminal lawyer. You should probably make an out of court settlement. You need to do something called "plea bargaining". Google it you will find it. It's basically agreeing/pleading guilty to a lesser charge, probably disorderly conduct and it will be a sentence less charge. Good luck!
