Sharmila has chosen to keep her maternal name. 

Where as in the case of Sonia, Rahul, Indira, Priyanka, they have adopted a name which ain’t theirs…it’s my a question of a name but it’s a question around why they have adopted the name Gandhi instead of Nehru.0
