He bought at very peak - same as mine. Yes, it took 15+ years to break even .

But, if it's not your investment property you are okay if you can make payments as primary home. 

I can clearly see this is repeating for some in few areas... 

Some are buying at 1M+ even a modest 20% correction is 200k.
