In my personal opinion there is no need to increase reservation at admission level. Just implement what is there correctly.

But there is immense need to increase reservation at high level. Almost no sc/st/bc in supreme court judges.

Almost 80% of indian public listed ceos are brahmin/bania caste only. There must be 80 percent represenation of bahujans in all these critical roles.

extreme right is very happy. especially because almost all of ews quota and women quota is swallowed by their batch only.

There is no real anti-reservation in india. Most upper castes are generally anti-merit. They just want reservation for their own castes.

LOL ..so you want upper caste reservation. EWS excludes all bc/sc/st. Same for women. uppe castes completely swallow that quota.

As i said there is not real demand for merit  - especially among majority upper castes. They all want reservation - for their own caste.

naku telisi SC has order of not breaching 60% quota anywhere and as per my knowledge this is the breakdown. FY 2022.

• GEN-EWS: 10%
• OBC-NCL: 27%

google womens quota and physical handicapped quota in iits. IITs are alsmost always run by brahmin and upper caste directors. They make their own rules and they keep increasing reseervations for their own groups.

In addition to this, 5% of seats of each category (including OPEN) are reserved for Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates. The seats are also of two pools - Gender-Neutral (80%) and Female-Only (20%). If a female fails to get her seat in Female-Only category, she gets admitted via the Gender-Neutral category of seats. Supernumerary seats were created to reach the 1:4 gender ratio requirement in 2018. The overall seat breakdown, including the count of female-supernumerary seats'

caste ledu bokka ledu... cutoff the reservations at 25% which include EWS, Handicapped and Women quota...

rest of 75% keep it open for all general..evadiki marks ekkuva vaste..they are eligible...

Thatws why i said UPTO 82%. In the worst case no women qualifies in top ranks all seats to them are reservation seats. so reservation increased from 52 percent to UPTO 82%. 62% is guarenteed with  ews quota.
