unfortunately yes kaka..  Most of them are buying during uncertainty times. Next time trump vache chances high. There would be lot of disco after that.  I am hearing the same across my circle that most of them living paycheck to paycheck. 

Not sure what they are going to do when they get sudden unforeseen incidents like death in family (US or India). it costs them min 5k to 6k dollars for the entire family to go there. My friend who is a Psychologist says this is the most driving factor where NRI's are loosing the family members ani. India lo undevallu thinks they are rich can't they shell some money to visit during critical time ani. people in US think that why can't they understand our position ani, actually they never share their financial situation with parents. 

House is an emotional investment and still we think it is an asset which can be helpful at the time of crisis ani. Ask your friend what is it which drive him to live in low quality life by buying the house.. ?
