Urgent help….Visa appointment

Parents have ofc and visa appointment in next week. But they won’t be able to make it due to an emergency. I don’t want to reschedule yet. Since things are on pause mode for now. 
 

Can I cancel the appointment for now? And reschedule it later.
 

Or will I lose money. and I have to start everything from scratch later on?

Call uscis office Hyde ra I mean visa center and email them 

I think 3 times you can changes the dates 

if you can’t make it you will loose money
