Then why are we bothering of overall voting percentage across A.P if it drills down to individual constituency level ?

• ఉదయం 6 గంటల నుంచే బూత్ ల వద్ద బారులు తీరిన ఓటర్లు
• కొన్ని చోట్ల రాత్రి 2 గంటల వరకు కూడా పోలింగ్ జరిగిందన్న మీనా
• గత ఎన్నికల్లో 79.8 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదైందని వెల్లడి
• ఈసారి రాత్రి 12 గంటల సమయానికి 78.25 శాతం పోలింగ్ జరిగిందని స్పష్టీకరణ

 

ఏపీలో మునుపెన్నడూ చూడని రీతిలో పోలింగ్ కేంద్రాలకు ఓటర్లు భారీగా తరలి వచ్చారు. దాంతో నిన్న సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల సమయానికే 68 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదైంది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో, కొన్ని పోలింగ్ స్టేషన్లలో అర్ధరాత్రి వరకు కూడా ఓటింగ్ జరగడంతో పోలింగ్ శాతం పెరిగింది. 

దీనిపై ఏపీ ఎన్నికల ప్రధాన అధికారి ముఖేశ్ కుమార్ మీనా స్పష్టత ఇచ్చారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని కొన్ని పోలింగ్ కేంద్రాల్లో రాత్రి 2 గంటల వరకు కూడా పోలింగ్ జరిగిందని వెల్లడించారు. పూర్తి పోలింగ్ శాతం వివరాలు ఇవాళ అందుతాయని చెప్పారు.  

2019 ఎన్నికల్లో పోలింగ్ బూత్ ల ద్వారా 79.2 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదైందని తెలిపారు. 0.6 శాతం పోస్టల్ బ్యాలెట్ తో కలిపి 79.8 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదైందని వివరించారు. 

ఈసారి ఎన్నికల్లో రాత్రి 12 గంటల వరకు 78.25 శాతం ఓటింగ్ నమోదైందని మీనా వివరించారు. 1.2 శాతం పోస్టల్ బ్యాలెట్ తో కలిపి 79.4 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదైనట్టు స్పష్టం చేశారు. అన్ని పోలింగ్ బూత్ ల నుంచి వచ్చే వివరాలు పరిశీలిస్తే, తమ అంచనా ప్రకారం 81 శాతం పోలింగ్ నమోదు కావొచ్చని అన్నారు.

What Mastan said might be right but if you look at the demographics, TRS won majority of the seats in Urban segments where voting percent is usually low and Congress won in rural pockets where voting percent is usually very high. 

We can’t go with Mastan’s analysis in this regard.
