I don't read into what BJP or congress say ... I read books in a library ..

library books anni correct ani how do you know ?? just curious , do you read about the author, their upbringing, their connections? How do you know if their intent and motive is correct?

Even with right intent and motive, the books written by an author is always from a lens they wear, from their perspective, and how they try to fit certain things into a framework because that is the only framework they are aware of .. ??

In my childhood I used to think Gandhi was great.

Topic not about good or bad. Whether Gandhi was a known personality prior to 1982 .

Very true .. They might be biased views. But journalism was decent back then. Read a few books to understand what happened pre independence. He is not as pious as shown in our text books.

that is what I am driving you towards. You read the same books in next 10 years, your viewpoint and understanding will be different.  My point is, a)you should read all sorts of books, including godse's version and always take every version with a grain of salt, be skeptical always 2) More importantly, while I agree that the books you read definetely shapes you, its also equally true that, n the first place, most people pick the books that aligns with their thought process.

So, where is this thought process or personal view point coming from? From real life experiences. We are all what we have experienced in real life.. After a certain age, no matter what a book tells you, you won't agree because you have first hand experiences that says otherwise. Anduke, ee DB lo political posts choosinappudu antha navvostondi..there is no point in doing campaign here, people have already decided who they want to vote..
