I think with this kind of defeat there will be lot more introspection and patch ups

from TDP standpoint it is always good to have them as 2 different parties without alignment

considering that YCP will try their best to avoid this in future

Definitely, TDP needs to some one to play that role of separating ani incumbency vote. I don’t think he will risk competing along without PK part of the alliance. 
 

YCP needs someone to run the party assuming Jagan will be arrested. Bharathi is the only choice now.

Jagan arrest is a long shot. That may not happen 

CBN might consider that as another sympathy weapon for YCP

better to leave him like that and fulfill poll promises and improve infrastructure

now he has advantage of central support

I don’t think Lokesh will settle for anything less than Jagan’s arrest. It is just matter of time but they will execute it perfectly. Jagan cases verdict ala chestaru, not like how Jagan made penta with CBN arrest.

YSRCP will have to first bring in, Sharmila and his Mom into the fold. He will have to re order his org structure.

they still got a good vote percentage, Jagan has a big caste and religion base. He will still be a big force in future. 
 

PK can play spoil sport in every election because of his caste base. I think PK for the first time can serve and use his caste base effectively

Congress vote bank became a part of YSRCP long time back and some of it also melted away into Jena sena also. Congress has no ground cader or local leaders left. Most joined into YSRCP some time back. Some of those might have voted for TDP especially the middle classes. But the core vote bank of YSRCP is still intact. Just lost because of heavy dependence on welfare schemes and non payment of salaries to government employees.

jagan had no money for paying pensions so he kept on extending retirements and he even removed all increments. The government employees are a different block and 90% of them vote one way irrespective of caste and religion
