I’ve heard so many stories of parents not attending PTA meetings in the Dallas area even though majority of the kids are Indians, small things like these are part of the culture here and people will notice them. This sh!t is not just in Dallas but many major cities all over the country

Ma school lo only 40% Asians.. but there is only one Asian in the PTA.. but there are several Indian/asian parents (including me) who volunteer for school events, as chaperones, classroom volunteers… but not to the PTA.. 

may be they think that it is a big responsibility..
