More f1 visas to be issued this year for Indians

Us ambassador in his press meet today. Last year we issued 1 lakh 40 thousand f1 visas. 

This year they are planning to issue even more. 

But ground reality is little different as there are mass rejections. May be they will issue more visas in their second or third rejection slots?
