Hi folks, could you guys please suggest based on your experience if we can make living out of day trading. I don’t have status issue, I would like to know if it really works or not. If possible I want to stop working in IT and rely on day trading for monthly income.

excess cash thone cheyi..konni months block ayyina em kangaru padakudadu

i think you need to have trade excess to 50k to get any reasonable profits

also dont ever deviate from plan. always try to sell by EOD. profit or loss - calculate wisely and sell by EOD. taking few loses is fine.

99.99% who retired early on stocks are long term investors.

Its so much easier compared to day trading.

99.99% of day traders get wiped out.

Its better to be where odds are in your favor.

so day trading is cool as long as you make a penny , few things

always have zero expectations on returns but be pragmatic

be aware of how much cash you can afford to loose

more investment is not path to recovery

dont be greedy, time the buys/sells for least risk , actually there is nothing called timing in reality

dont be emotional

dont get excited

lastly dont plan on future investments/responsibilities thinking day trading makes consistent income

there sre few players fortunate enouto make money

majority loose or even go bankrupt

risk awareness is the first step

bet on stocks that are of some value but not shale sheet

Very rarely day traders make money. Its very difficult to have the discipline to stick to technicals and perform. Emotions come into picture. Greed and Fear take over.

Try investing in good dividend stocks/ETFs/Income funds and get regular income. Do some short term trading with 1-2 weeks timeline. If it works, take it full time.

Any money you make, pay off your debts - cars, house, etc.

I've been in a similar boat and found that having solid tools makes a big difference with consistency. I started using https://axiomtrade.xyz/axiom-trade/ after a friend mentioned it, and it's helped me stay more organized with my planning and trade logs. Nothing fancy, but it does what I need and keeps me focused during market hours.
