Its upto you..and your requirements..  I pick bigger lot to serve my needs(2 kids). Also community and location matters.. don't think too much about builders if price is a concern..

50ft lot should be ok proivided the building width is good, Otherwise train dabba feeling vasthundi.

after a decade builder yevarrana same rate vasthundi if you sell.

Pulte was worest builder in texas go with highland homes american legend shaddock perry homes first texas homes. Mi homes also better taylor morrison southgate tripoint is even better than pulte

2) see what is the price .. including upgrades and if it is within the budget

3) see which area is best for you out of 2

Bro nadhi 60 ft lot.

Pros:

 60 ft lot you will have big space between yours and your neighbors home. little bit privacy. and its looks good.

Cons:

bigger the lot high maintaince like lawn mowing  and high property tax.

Initial days lo felt happy that my lot is very big and very big gap between my home and neighbors but lawn mowing chestunte telustundhi asal pain. if you can hire some for lawn mowing then no issue.
