Steel plant requires a lot of capital investment. VSP currently has 3 blast furnaces, with the heavy investments in foundry units and all. Even if BJP thought about privatization of VSP, they are not going to simply remove the capital investment from VSP, but simply give it to a private firm. You cannot simply remove VSP and build something else there.

15K is only perm employees, contractors, chala peddha eco-system both direct and indirect employment. Think about all their families.  Aa land icchina farmers ki ippataki nyayam jaragaledhu. Avi anni kakunda capital ki ivvadam ante chettha alonchana. Amaravati farmers ki em chestharu? Aa Amaavati select chesindhe Sriramakrishan report lo unna points prakaram. Vizag was least preferred city for many reasons - risk, connectivity, water availability etc. Anantapuram nundi Vizag vellali ante two days paduthundhi. Any Seema district nundi more than a day paduthundhi.

3K crore loss ante chala thakkuva. They expanded it massivily in recent years and they have plans to expand further. 23,129 Cr turner between 2023-24. 43% more than previous year. The losses are primarily due to not having Captive mines. They don't have their own mines, they but the ore from someone. Even Adani has better mines than Vizag steel. Govt captive mines isthe profits ne untundhi. Jaggadu cheppinattu capital ga change cheyyali annakooda kudaradhu, its central govt handover lo untundhi.
