Which group dominates Bangalore?

It just Iooks like only Seema/Nellore cheddies dominate everything due to frequent "Telugu conversations" around you.

But the fact is vast majority of businesses, hotels, real estate both residential and commercial, Govt contracts, liquor -- are 90% owned and controlled by Local Kannadigas.

Anantapur Cheddies do really own some pockets like Marathahalli, Munnekolala, White Field and parts of Koramangala.

Then numbers wise, Northies are really dominating.

Then comes Tamilians, Malayalis, significant Bengalis and Orissas..

Basically, its a bit of History.

Under Vizianagara Empire, Rayalaseema and large parts of Karnataka was part of the Empire.

After the fall of Empire, people scattered all through, especially Cheddies.

Then came the British Empire ..  they did nothing to uplift this region due to Rowdy nature of Cheddies. Basically they are criminals & mentally retarded people.

After 1947, especially after IT boom in 1990s, large sections of beggar Cheddies from Anantapur went to Bangalore as begaars and coolies.

Occupied lands outside Bangalore, and got richer.

I know some Cheddys are actually Kannadiga in origin. But lots of these CHeddys are manavallu.
