In Andhra Pradesh, "Pappu" is a nickname commonly used to refer to Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He is the leader of the YSR Congress Party and has been in office since 2019. Before becoming Chief Minister, he served as a Member of Parliament from Kadapa and was a prominent leader in the state's political landscape. The nickname "Pappu" is often used affectionately by his supporters and is derived from the Telugu word for "baby" or "young one".
