Not completely safe. Pfizer vax too had side effects like myocarditis and pericarditis, although slightly lesser than Moderna.

Covaxin is relatively safe but heard side effects it from too but not as severe as  COVISHIELD.  Unfortunately, people were not ready to listen to me back in the day. Got fired from one job in Canada due to this Vaccine stress. I had stop my parents from getting COVISHIELD,and convinced them to get Covaxin. Ideally NO VAX is better but they just wanted a vaccine. Not sure if many on this DB are aware, but there is a spike in new Thyroid and Cancer cases in those that took COVISHIELD as well

I care less about media. It's about government and judiciary. Government waived off all the legal protections for the end users is people. This happened in India too. You can't claim compensation or actions against the vaccine manufacturers. 

Scott Gottelieb the then acting director of FDA, resigned his job with FDA after he approved Pfizer vax and joined Pfizer board. How stupid are people?
