To give you an example..daycare lo sharing nerpisthar antarga..frnds kids always take away stuff frm my kid and he fights back until we ask him to let it go. Those day care kids parents maata att care. We were so glad for not taking him to daycare.

some day care kids will not eat indian food..thats what i have observed so far..

they always eat junk or prefer pizza always and one kid i know only eats meat and they are vegetarian(brahmin) family.

papam they are struggling with that kid as they dont cook meat and kid won't eat any veggies.

Same situation, same feeling.

Almost same salary(162K) except I am from Bay Area, Stocks may be other 10-15K are added annually. We stopped daycare for our daughter after 8 months so that's helping a lot in savings, She is 4 now and she is going to start school in August.

Able to Save around 1.8 to 2.5 k per month after all expenses.

Take Home: 8800

Rent: 3400

Groceries/Shopping/Eating Out: 800/300/200

(Electricity/Internet/Phone/Car Ins/Hospital Bills /Subscriptions/Apple Cards): ~800(150/70/120/100/150 / 50/150)

car EMI: 375

Misc(swimming/Medical expenses/Local Outings &Stuff):500

First, make sure tha you contribute to HSA and 401k even if there is no match.

Nowadays wives who don't work in IT are working in Walmart as they increased pay and have health insurance.

Walmart staff near desi communities are full of desis nowadays.

Just an  fyi.

 

And yeah, you don't need 2 cars.

And car insurance is too high. Should be less than 100.

And why 200 for phone? 50-60 should be max for 2 phones.

Save more and overpay your mortgage to reduce payments in future.
