Check if someone in your batch is already staying around Parmer or Tech Ridge — lots of desis share there and might have a spot. Also, while I was booking my stay before moving, I ended up comparing rates with 4 star hotels in Singapore just for fun — surprising how Austin rental prices can sometimes come close. Try Facebook groups too, saw a few sublease posts last week.
