Former MLA Vamsi Mohan completes graduation from ISB

Vijayawada: In a rare feat, former legislator and YSRCP candidate from Gannavaram assembly constituency in Krishna district, Dr Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan has completed graduation in public policy from the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB). He received the graduation certificate from Dr Rukmini Banerjee, chairperson of Pratham Foundation, Rakesh Bharti Mittal, vice chairman, Bharti enterprises, and chairman of the advisory council of the Bharti Institute of Public Policy, ISB & ISB dean Madan Pillutla at the convocation held on Tuesday.

Vamsi Mohan is perhaps the first politician from Telugu states to have completed the graduation from ISB. Vamsi who won two back-to-back elections from Gannavaram as TDP nominee is contesting the upcoming elections as YSRCP nominee.

Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP) at India's top business school Indian School of Business (ISB) is considered to be the toughest one to handle the workload and pressure. Interestingly, Vamsi’s elective on introduction of English medium in public schools has received applause from the faculty.
