Too much inventory anna .. Home prices seeing decrease everywhere .. Inventory is going to increase more with interest rate drops.

A lot of people want to upgrade or downgrade their homes into bigger/smaller homes. They will get into market with lower interest rates. There will be a lot of pressure on people who bought homes recently seeing their home values depreciate leading to selling.

See the prices this winter.

recent home buyer ....somehow I feel that I bought it with top dollar....I see that the inventory is plenty in our area and the homes are not closing as they were and builders are coming up with all sorts of incentives to attract buyers. So, I feel the home prices are likely to go down by a little this fall and winter....may be not applicable to hot markets like Tx and NC where ppl are still bidding...but overall ga aithey housing market cool aye lane undhi...

having said all that...P.S. who knows what is going to happen to housing markets with all the coaster ride that happened post covid...one thing is for sure...when is the better time to buy a home ante...today if you are sorted with your finances (in terms of down payment and some reserves as back up) and can afford the house payments.
