yes absolutely worth it..

you will enjoy summer and great schools for kids and lot of indian restaurants to eat and so many parties every weekend.

i moved from mid west 15 months back for me my kid is having good time he can go outside more last summer  it is very harsh this year not that bad best part for us even in jan feb we can go outside and play schools are decent and lot of Indian restaurants and friends

Seriously  people who moved with Toyota migration in 2016 probably best times ippudu just Mari chandalam ga tayaru ayyindi too much crowd everywhere..

if you can ignore Desis and just enjoy good food events and sports like tennis pickleball or outdoor running and decent weather fall and spring winter then  it’s still good to move .. best suggestion if u want to save money move into good rental with garage and small yard never buy house way too expensive taxes and hoa and insurance and roof repairs pest control and yard Maintance etc 

 

avoid full Desi neighborhoods at all costs 

 

still have to bear A*s burning summers atleast 3 months June July August

North and South India food at cheapest prices, leading to Diabetes before 35.

Kids growing up in Desi environment talking about brands they wear, cars their parents drive.

Most importantly Kula Sanghams are the biggest attractions of Dallas.

If you want all above three - then Texas is a must
