It has nothing to do with YSR or jagan ,andhra always had good amount of Christian influence especially in coastal areas as they are more developed and especially lower caste people opted Christianity which has given them education and other benefits instead of a religion that denied them basic human rights .

Not really,Dalits have no incentive to remain hindu.hence they convert, 90% of Dalits in andhra are Christians .

Conversions in rest of the communities is very less <4% in andhra .

In T.N Christian population might be slightly higher than andhra as there are more non-dalit converts in T.N.

In coastal Andhra districts like godzillas ,krishna, guntur and Nellore ,you can find some u.c converts, very less in other districts.

Dalits will still be getting more benefits if they have converted to Christianity.not to forget ,Dalits have never been included in Hinduism.

oc conversions have come down a lot since 1990's asalu oc's convert ayedhi chaale rare ippudu.before 1990's church money was very valuable as india was piss poor then.

When converted consider your self superior. Don’t claim reservations on cast name.

British influence lekapovamadam entayya andhra lo em maatladuthunnav?kerala kante andhra lo British influence ekkuva.

Kerala was under travancore estate ,andhra was under madras presidency.T.N and A.P are the only states to be completely under British influence in S.I.

Karnataka lo I think only tulunadu and some parts of karnataka were under British rest of karnataka was under Mysore kingdom and northern karnataka was under some maratha feudatories and some part under nizams.

Christianity in kerala is not due to British influence ,some of kerala Christians are one of the first Christians in the world ,even earlier than the Europeans ones.

Why would they consider themselves superior? Converting only gives them monetary benefits and a sense of community but their  status is still low in the society ,reservations are a different discussion.
