Work Culture -> Desilu work lo ekkada ekkuva unte akkada politics ekkuva. Politics ani vati paruvu teeyadam correct kadu .. manollaki emotional balance undadu. Overreact avtharu. Not all but most people. Meetings lo darunam ga untundi behavior. 

General Behavior -> Desi lu ekkada ekkuva untaro akkada kasta ati untundi .. No doubt about that. Esp youth. Seen during heroes movies or political rallys or responding to politics in india. But these do not happen in cities with less desi population. Manadanta "Jhund" mentality. Ekkuva janalu unte G lo D peruguddi. Lekapothe muskoni kurchuntaru.

Dallas -> Dallas has the most young desi crowd. But other areas are not far beyond where the desi population is huge. No point in singling out Dallas. Recession is adding to the woes.

Fake Resumes -> I think most people who did masters had fake resume in the beginning of their career. Without it, you cant get a job. Why single out OPTs or H4s or others who are doing Fake profiles?

Desi Vendors, Managers -> Corruption is in our blood. Most people when they get an opportunity indulge in it. Evenings sittings lo matuku India lo corruption by other parties gurinchi matladataru.

Place does not matter. Our friends and people around us matter. Choose a good group, you will be fine anywhere. 

Regarding job, upskill now and you can get a job somewhere. No use pointing out to desi managers, etc. Also we cant do anything about it. 

Choose a State/City based on your family needs and priorities and finances. 

IF I move to TX, I would move to a place where there is good desi population and a 2500 Sq. Ft home costs <500k. Easy on finances. Good colleges. I can bear heat. If it gets boring, I can go on a vacation to any place in US during holidays.

Connections with higher ups always matter whether they are desi or non-desi. GC/Citizen vs OPT/H1s also matter. In recession times, most positions are filled based on references. 

But if someone has good talent, they are always relevant.
