Do you think what is happening is that Harish wants to merge BRS with BJP while KCR/KTR doesn't.

No smoke without Fire. Definitely there is some merger activity within BRS and BJP.

There could be difference of opinion between Harish and KCR/KTR.

Harish would be third in line or further down the line anyway and so will be advantageous for him to merge with BJP and is probably pushing for it.

Local BJP leaders are wary of KCR though.

Back in 2014 he promised to merge TRS with Congress with Sonia Gandhi over tea. After the tea meeting and  infront of Rahul Gandhi, the pita  that is KCR, addressed the media that they are dreaming.

Rahul Gandhi's face apparently turned as pale as china they drank tea from a while ago.

KCR will be made governor of a northern state preferably closer to Delhi so he can do mulakat with his daughter Kavita regularly.

Harish can lead state BJP. Bandi Sanjay spoke favorably of him last time.
