Akshaya patra got monopoly on these govt contratcs. Must be investigated for possible corruption. 

Even if no corruption govt must give it to more social oriented organizations who can cook food as per requirements of locals. Not such organizations who have heavy food taboos.

karnatka lo villa meedha raccha raccha ayyindhale.

5 rupees is for end customer. govt pays them 25 i think. so each meal is 20 subsidized. I dont think there is corruption but too much business is given to these dodgy group. They hype themselves well.

Akshaya patra is not a contractor it is done by iskcon..not sure if you can get meat for 25 rs

They are the food manufacturing contractor. They get all these nice contracts from state govts  thanks to a build up they have. Others ki kooda chance ivvalantunna. Not these people whose food culture is alien to vast majority of actual eaters.

In the end this is all financed by Ap people. Their food habits must get precedence. Who knows in future govt may add eggs too.

BRo i was a big iskcon follower for four years. Agreed they set up some good systems. but antha monopoly avasaram emi ledhu. I dont know why govts are not getting another contractor.

monopoly ani enduku anukovali...they might have fit perfectly well into the Govt frameworks for giving this opportunity based on their credibility, organization, logistics, capability and mostly quality....do you think government wouldn't be assessing their background...
