I'm sure the detectives must be looking into digital forensics like his car travel data, phone GPS location, Security cameras in the area, and what not.

Know for the fact that there was ample of physical forensics that led to his arrest - Large pool of blood stains in carpet and bathroom, Purchase of knives and bleach at Walmart, Search History so far
