Is'nt that when Governance need to put together a strategy to maximize the water utilization? US lo chudu oka 3-4 yrs rains padakapoyina, there is no karuvu ... Because the water catchment is good when it rains properly.

Take CA as an example. A single dry year does not push state into water draught situation.

There are around 15 major and minor river systems in California out of which 9 had consistent flow through out the year .. now compare it to AP...

I am not sure where you are getting to. If an initiative is taken to connect lakes to rivers, what's wrong in that. How is that bad?

AP lo rains padaka poina...AP ki main water source...flood water from Maharashtra and karnataka...when AP Dams overflow with these floods from MH and KA...the excess water goes to ocean through Canals and streams...

as these 38000 lakes storage capacity is 206 TMC and can cover an extensive agriculture area of 26 lakh acres....

what current AP government plans to do is to fill the local village ponds and lakes with this overflowing flood water by linking them with main canals and conserve it rather than loosing it to ocean....
