May be that was the reason for last season ending surge .. If he is a flop .. GB goes backwards for another 4-5 yrs  .. like how Gaints are struggling.

Next year purdy .. Lets see how he does this season. So much narrative on him being a system QB. But if he does well this season, it will be a record contract and if he wins SB, it will go the roof ... 

Mahomes contract looks cheaper. 

Not sure how SF is managing its Salary Cap. Lots of players at very high contracts. Aiyuk, Deebo, Fred Warner, Trent williams, Ward, Kittle, Bosa, etc.
