It depends. Those MS students that came before Obozo time and during Obozo's first term were by and large legit. Most had good GRE scores and went to Public/State unis. Appudu kooda santha undhi kani, mostly legit. 

Obozo's second term nunchi antha racha racha. I have seen my friends from 2011 grad batch who went to Indiana, Purdue, University of Texas while rest of those that didn't do well joined no name schools and went to consultancies. This was 2011. Before that the legit students were even more and low GRE and TOEFL scores was almost guaranteed rejection. 

Appati nunchi year on year down hill ee. Easy route fake exp. Mesthri daggara naukri, insta photos etc. oka cycle.

Ippudu vache Gen Z lo idhi inka entrench ayipoyindhi. They are street smart and more self obsessed. But only few of them are academically strong. They are into easy routes even more. Fake GC, fake marriage whatever doesn't matter only $$$.

Relatively India nunche vache H1s are screened , has legit experience if you're from big firms, on site kosam politics, dabbulu pettadalu gatra bane chestharu. One and only mission US ravadam H1B ane type. Aithe there also some who didnt like US and went back to India as they are happy there. Same same but different.
