Chennai goes through this every year in December. Communication takes time to establish. Everything will be fine soon. Hope all is well

Natural disasters lo recovery takes lot of time… water has to clear for full power to be restored.. otherwise people will get electrocuted… it takes weeks to get back to normal conditions.. Govt and other charities are doing their best to feed people.. Vijayawada is an urban area and densely populated city.. no one knows how many people are living and where they are..  it is hard to help everyone… 

India lo disaster response systems are not fully in place.. even in places like US, it takes days to restore power and weeks for things to come back to normal.. Houston, Louisiana, Florida lo kuda ee climate disasters are very common and they have good systems in place.. still people get killed..

option leka budameru gates etthalsi vacchindhi that too on a saturday mid nite dhaati early morning 3 aa time ki without any proper warnings.

next relief camps info lopala vunna janalaki vellaledhu aa road nunchi konchem mundhuki vasthe ekkadi vellali for services ane cheppataniki naadude ledu chaala issues vunnayi

May be true.. it is too early to blame anyone now.. these things will come out soon once things are back to normal… I am more worried about the water borne viruses and people will get sick if the water is stagnated for long.. it is going to be a bad rainy/winter season for those people.. 🙁

Having lived near a river in my childhood, I have seen quite a few floods and I didn’t see the govt anywhere near by to help.. people always used to tend to themselves with some help from their neighbors.. no relief camps or medical camps or food supplies.. now disaster management in India is a lot better.. 

I have seen some videos on twitter.. many of them are talking in a very entitled way as if they have ordered food on swiggy or some stuff on Amazon and it is not delivered..
