Having said that, if IT is our Bread and Butter and if we need to interact with clients in US/UK, communication is key. Communication does not mean speaking good English. As long as we can put across our thinking which others can understand, it's effective. We should also make an effort to get better at it as time progresses. But in reality, most people tend to be in their comfort zone and start talking in the local language. It gets uncomfortable if there are other people who do not understand the language. Quote

Work lo professional ga undaali. Be sensitive to the people around. If there are other language people around, switching to English is the most basic thing we should do. If other people are talking in their language, there is nothing wrong in asking them to talk in English. 2 Quote
