No there is no clear direct relation between vitamin d and hypertension, even supplements of vitamin d has not proved to control hypertension

Instead of all these suggestions in the thread which practically of no use should visit the doctor and get his blood pressure checked and then we can talk about what to do, not costing a doctor is a blunder

Should visit doctor for sure, and then confirm his blood pressure then should be on medication if necessary for life that's the only solution, many times these machines are not properly calibrated can never trust these

And if his blood pressure is 130/90 he should be on medications for sure, diet and lifestyle modifications are part of treatment
