Actually this trend of vinayakudi vigraham outside the house started from Hyderabad/North India... Andhra lo anta undadu....it started because Hindus wanted to show off to Muslims because of Eid. Otherwise there is no need to put vinayakudi vigraham outside and do a procession for 10 days. At least Andhra lo ayite intlo chavithi roju pooja and nimarjanam ee hangu lekunda ayyedi...of course aa showoff culture is ruining it.

It’s actually true started by bala gangadhar tilak during independence movement to show Hindu unity. Ya telangana la due to sizable Turka population Hindus celebrate in a big way to show off. In one way it is good it generates lot of employment both turks and Hindus ki.
