The EB-2 category receives 28.6% of the total employment based visa allocation. And with the visa cap now reached, causing panic among the immigrants. Embassies and consulates have done their part to maximize this year’s visa, and will not issue any more EB-2 visas until the new fiscal year, beginning October 1, 2024.
