The reason being, mutton that comes from goat, (lamb being secondary) are picky plant eaters. Their diet is not industrial as that of poultry. The protein and fat profiles are far more superior than hormone raised, industrial GMO fodder fed chicken any day. Red meat also has higher amounts of iron, B12, and Zinc plus saturated fats which are important for testosterone. Now the problem is biryani and rice in general. White rice, that too used in biryani has a high Glycemic index, which means it shoots up your insulin levels in your blood. Over a period of time, you will have a chances of developing insulin resistance that may lead to further issues like belly gain, atherosclerosis, and pre diabetes and hypertension. Cut down the rice and eat more meat. ante DATY antav ani @pandugadu999 asking Quote

Seed oils from GMOs (linoleic acid) and processed fats (trans fats) are. Saturated fats are far more essential to the body. You can infact improve your HDL levels and reduce hormone imbalance through saturated fats. Any given day unprocessed red meat (even fattier cuts) is far better than white meat. Don't agree , this is entirely nonsense, red meat should never be encouraged, there is tonnes of studies pointing out white meat is superior Quote

Jordan Peterson is on all beef diet, lost weight, with better blood work. I personally attest to raised libido, better muscle recovery and more energy from ketogenic diet with high amounts of Mutton (fatty cuts). Quote

If you think industrial poultry is superior to pasture raised goats or even cows, then that's inherently flawed thinking. Let's look at what variables those studies looked at. Provide sources. Quote

Saturated fats are never the problem. I eat a lot of it. I consume mutton almost every day as a part of my keto diet and I'm absolutely fine. So are my family and friends. Sugars and processed carbs are biggest problem. Quote

This is not even a contest, it's common sense. Red meat with fat, is good for your muscle recovery hormone production, LDL Levels, and is rather anti inflammatory. Quote
