what nonsense is this.....appatlo Zimbabwe was nothing.....they won just one ODI match between 1980 and 1989....and you compare them with current day SL ?

that was a league match....adi lose aina kuda manaki total 12 Points vundevi....we would have still gone through to the next round

just did some research and found out that Zimbabwe was not even FT member of ICC till 92, so they were underdogs in 83 WC but did well against Aus in their first match raising their expectations.

I sincerely apologize for assuming they were good in 83, its basically comes from 90s image of them being very good with Flower brothers etc.

But still the way he carried the team after the collapse is great, still regarded as one of the best ODI innings by many experts.
