Career options after age 40

what are the career options after age 40.currently I am 40 and in a Devops architect position .i have GC.i am not interested in managerial positions.What are my options next in IT?can you please advice?

Architect is a top level role right equivalent to senior director. Why still crying? I know many people in 40+ still working contract jobs and senior software engineer roles. Not everyone can go to senior director or architect roles just because they are 40

Architect since 7 years bro.no growth in current company.Also salary didn’t increase much.got GC recently.so want to see what are my options

Exactly me also 40+ still working as individual contributor as i want my  space/time to spend time for other things..

more tech oriented companies lo there are lot of levels in architect too.in my current company there is sr. architect,principal, sr. principal , distinguished engineer/arch .. 
alternatively other companies may have similar roles staff engr, senior staff or principal engineer.
